![]() | Yellowstone & Grand Teton National ParksMay 14-21, 2009 $1,995 (limit four) Get the details During the month of May, there are more animals than tourists in these parks. The bison calves feed, the elk begin calving, moose gnaw on willow branches, and the bighorn lambs are the size of kittens. Winter hangs on in some parts of these parks and spring flowers appear in others. This will be a photo-intensive workshop concentrating on fieldwork. Beginning in Grand Teton National Park we will work on wildlife and scenic images; next we’ll visit the west central portion of Yellowstone National Park to photograph geysers, hot pools, and bison on the Madison Plateau; finally we’ll go to the northern area of the park to concentrate our efforts on the wildlife and wildflowers of the Lamar Valley. Cost includes lodging (rates based on double occupancy), transportation within the park, and two meals per day. (Workshop transportation, lodging, and meals are for paying workshop attendees only.) |
